To maintain the well drilling industry of Missouri on a scientific and efficient basis.To keep water well drillers and pump installers informed of the new developments and techniques in the industry, and to provide for a mutual exchange of ideas to advance the industry.

THERE WERE THREE BILLS IN THE MISSOURI LEGISLATURE THAT WOULD HAVE ELIMINATED THE WELL INSTALLATION BOARD GIVING DRILLERS AND PUMP INSTALLERS LESS INPUT ON DNR POLICY AND RULES. SEE BILLS AT THE FOLLOWING LINKS:

This bill is currently not moving but we will continue to monitor it.
HOUSE BILL 881

Thanks to our testimony and all member efforts to change this bill, a substitute bill was created by sponsor that does not eliminate the Well Installation Board (WIB). The amended bill went through the house and was assigned to a Senate Committee. It was heard in the committee but has not left the committee as of 5/10/2013. It will probably go no further this year. A Big Thanks to Lindell Lindsey who testified at the hearing, and all the others who took the time to testify, visit legislators, write letters and make phone calls to make the change possible!!!
